I was assisted by Rodney. The young gentleman went beyond measures to help me with the complicated “I don’t know what I need, but it’s not this”. As I gave him a broken vacuum part. He also helped with a nursery item. He is a brilliant man and employee

These people here are awesome! Friendly, knowledgeable and always a pleasant visit when I go there. They fixed a screen for me fast one time. Even the maintenance around here couldn't do it as fast...or at all! Sad.....thanks you guys!

This is a wonderful neighborhood resource. They have all kinds of home products here from hardware to dish soap to pet care... and puzzles! The staff is super helpful and know what they are doing.

I was able to find everything that I needed to fix up my apartment here, and the service was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They were able to help me locate exactly what I needed for a variety of projects from hanging shelves to small plumbing fixes. The selection was great and they always had what I was looking for with options as well.

Always nice to have a smaller hardware store in the neighborhood so I try to support them whenever I can. They are always well-stocked and have a very wide array of hardware, tools, and outdoor equipment. I've been here numerous times for those frustrating mid-project supply runs and I almost always find what I need quickly. The staff are helpful and friendly. They also have a great small engine parts and repair department, screen repair, glass, blade sharpening, etc.

The combination light switch/fan switch broke in our main floor bathroom so I went to Frattalone's on Rice Street. A long-term employee helped me find the right switch as well as N batteries for a crystal clock. After turning off the power and double, triple checking the wiring, my husband and I installed the switch in under 30 minutes. I like shopping Frattalone's because customers receive help from knowledgeable employees. Thank you!

Frat’s is where I go most of the time for hardware. It reminds me of the places I went as a kid and the staff are usually pretty knowledgeable. Despite other reviews, I find the pricing to be fair most of the time or in par with big box. Yes, found some things way overpriced, but have also bought things like Webber bbq tools way under priced! No different at big box if you are paying attention. I go here also because my understanding is they help out the community and the same school one of my kids go to. If it is the same Frattelone family, I owe ‘em. Glad to see they are finally working on a ecommerce store, which I will use for sure. Support local businesses people, big box doesn’t really help our community other than some jobs.
